Alicia Ayars
Community Programs Coordinator, City of Spokane


Alicia Ayars is a native to Spokane, Washington. She is a Community Programs Coordinator with the City of Spokane for the Department of Community & Neighborhood Services. Alicia obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Urban & Regional Planning from Eastern Washington University.

Alicia has coordinated a variety of projects across the Spokane community, those projects include; the Downtown Spokane Gateway Beautification Project – this project focused on cleaning up the under freeway parking area and railroad viaduct in the downtown core and Cleaning from the Core, an annually City sponsored event that hosts over 30 clean up events and recruited 400 volunteers. Most recently Alicia is wrapping up a variety of projects and programs under the Forest Spokane Initiative.

Beyond her professional integrity and pride in her work Alicia enjoys the many outdoor activities eastern Washington has to offer.
