Shannon Keller
Blue Zones Project and CANA


Shannon holds Bachelor's degree in Psychology & Leisure Services as well as Bachelor's degree in Health & Wellness. She has been volunteering with the Blue Zones Project and CANA for three years and has held an ambassador title with national Blue Zones Project in Iowa (iowa.bluezonesproject.com) setting up healthy cooking demonstrations. She has served as the Secretary for CANA for three years. CANA was the 3rd neighborhood in the country to get certified as a Blue Zones Neighborhood, the 1st in Iowa. She has also been in the same walking “moai” for three years and walks every Tuesday and Thursday with the group that has truly become a family.

Shannon is passionate about helping others reach their potential for great health and well-being and is currently working as a Health Educator. She is also very passionate about making her community healthy and supports any local ventures that she can. She loves history and wants to preserve as much as possible to continue educating future generations.
