Stephanie Simpson
Past President, Junior League of Memphis

Stephanie Simpson has been a member of the Junior League of Memphis (JLM) for more than 15 years. She served on the JLM Board of Directors as Training Director, Community Director, Board Member at Large, President-Elect and President. She was chair of the JLM Education Initiative Development Committee that formed the G.R.O.W. program at Lester Community Center. In this role, she worked closely with the City of Memphis Parks and Recreation Services to create the partnership between the JLM and the City of Memphis. She was chosen as the JLM Community Volunteer of the Year in 2005 and as one of the Junior League of Memphis 90 Women of Achievement in 2012.

Stephanie recently served on Memphis Mayor Strickland’s transition team, as a leader on the poverty team researching workforce development issues. She is currently a member of the Board of Directors for Shelby County Books from Birth and the Women’s Foundation for a Greater Memphis. She was selected as a Top 40 under 40 by the Memphis Business Journal in 2011 and as a Next Gen Leader by the Memphis Business Quarterly in 2014.

Stephanie is the Senior Vice President, Disability and Absence Management Practice and Compliance at Sedgwick Claims Management Services, Inc. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and a Juris Doctor from the University of Memphis.
