Suzanne Vaughan, PHD FRSA
Neighborhood Centers Inc.


Before joining Neighborhood Centers Inc. as their Strategic Research and Partnerships Advisor, Suzanne Vaughan worked in health and education research, gaining a PhD in medical education through investigating the impact that connections and social capital have on achievement. Suzanne is responsible for developing the social impact evaluation strategy for Neighborhood Centers, an organization that served 599,000 people last year. Originally from the UK, Suzanne has worked in services to support seniors and to connect individuals with disabilities to resources and employment.

Suzanne is passionate about equality and social justice, and uses Appreciative Inquiry and Asset-Based Community Development tools to support low-income communities in Houston to create and realize their vision.
