Experience
Shortly after moving to Palm Springs, eight years ago, Terry became actively involved on the Board of Advisors for the Racquet Club Estates Neighborhood Organization. She was elected by that Board to serve as their Vice President and Official Representative to the Organized Neighborhoods of Palm Springs where she is currently serving her second term as Secretary. She has presented neighborhood and community news and information to the Palm Springs City Council on numerous occasions. Terry works with enthusiasm to better the lives of her neighbors and the residents of Palm Springs as a whole.
Terry is a Registered and Board Certified Art Therapist with more than 30 years as a clinician, an art therapy educator and has served as Treasurer of the American Art Therapy Association. She is also a Past-President of the Art Therapy Credentials Board. Until her retirement, she was an Assistant Professor at Albertus Magnus College in Connecticut, a guest lecturer at Florida State University and Yung Nam University in South Korea. Terry is a frequent presenter on the theory and practice of art therapy, clinical supervision and professional ethics. She is translating her previous experiences into neighborhood and community advocacy in Palm Springs.
