Developing Action Steps for Sustainability
Alicia Ayars, Conference Speaker

The Forest Spokane Initiative is an ambitious two (2) year plan to mitigate storm water runoff by implementing green infrastructure practices, namely planting trees and/or perennial vegetation native to northeastern Washington. The Initiatives overarching goal is to plant 10,000 trees by engaging Spokane Neighborhood Councils, integration into city department projects, and maximizing efforts with invested community partners.
